Castle Jewellery was born in 2023 from a conversation after a game of football. Daniel and Nick had been selling jewellery to friends and family for years — and the question arose: why not sell to the public?
They started online. But something felt wrong. Selling rings through a screen meant customers couldn't feel the weight, the finish, or the quality they were so proud of. So they took a different approach and booked their first wedding fair.
It was in Knutsford. No banners. No business cards. No posters. A mismatched collection of jewellery on a bare table. Within minutes of the doors opening, a lovely lady bought a diamond bracelet for over £100. They thought they were going to be millionaires by Christmas.
How wrong they were.
Nothing else sold that day. But the lesson was invaluable: they needed a proper stand, a website, a payment system — and, above all, a clear focus. Wedding rings. That realisation shaped everything Castle Jewellery is today.

With over a decade in the jewellery trade, Daniel brings a depth of knowledge that few can match. His career has taken him from the shop floor of a family jewellers — selling rings, chains, and fine pieces directly to the public — to the world of trade, supplying high-end jewellery to independent retailers across the country.

Outside of work, Daniel is a man of great ambition and questionable ability. He fills his downtime with video games, football, and golf — three pursuits he approaches with enormous enthusiasm and, by his own admission, very mixed results. His long-term goal is to one day be better than Nick at all three. Those close to the situation suggest this may take a while. Daniel remains optimistic.

Nick's background spans the IT industry and business operations — and it shows in how Castle Jewellery runs. From the website and booking systems to the customer journey and brand, Nick is responsible for the infrastructure that makes every appointment seamless from first click to front door.
Over the past five years, Nick has immersed himself in the jewellery trade, developing a strong eye for product and a clear vision for where the business is headed. As the driving force behind Castle Jewellery's growth and development, he's constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for couples across the Midlands and North West.
Married with two children, Nick knows first-hand what it means to choose a ring that lasts a lifetime — and what it means to a couple when the process feels right.
Away from the jewellery world, Nick is a man of many talents. In 2025 he claimed the prestigious title of Castle Jewellery Invitational Champion — a golf tournament he definitely didn't organise himself — cementing his status as the undisputed sporting icon of the business. Daniel has yet to offer his congratulations. Castle Jewellery's passion for golf runs deeper still — the business proudly sponsors the 11th hole at Wychwood Golf Course in Crewe, keeping the Castle Jewellery name firmly planted in the local community.
