Yellow Gold — 9ct & 18ct
The classic choice. 9ct yellow gold contains 37.5% pure gold (making it harder and more scratch-resistant), while 18ct contains 75% pure gold (giving it a richer, deeper colour and greater prestige). If you want a traditional look and want to keep the cost down, 9ct is excellent value. If colour depth and precious metal content matter to you, 18ct is worth the investment.
White Gold — 9ct & 18ct
White gold is yellow gold alloyed with white metals (typically palladium or nickel) and finished with rhodium plating to give it its bright silver appearance. It complements diamond engagement rings beautifully and has a crisp, contemporary look. The rhodium plating will wear over time and may need re-plating every few years — a simple and inexpensive process any jeweller can carry out.
Rose Gold — 9ct & 18ct
Rose gold has seen a significant surge in popularity over the past decade and it’s easy to see why.
