Our Warranties at a Glance

Two distinct
guarantees for you

One covers black tungsten for life — no questions asked. The other covers all other materials for 12 months from purchase. Both are in addition to your statutory rights under UK law.

Black Tungsten
Lifetime Warranty

All black tungsten rings come with a lifetime warranty — up to two complimentary replacements, for any reason, with no restrictions whatsoever.

Why this warranty exists: Tungsten rings cannot be re-sized, and the black PVD coating cannot be re-applied. This warranty is our commitment that you'll always have a ring that fits and looks great, for life. The base tungsten carbide is scratch and tarnish resistant; the PVD surface coat may show wear over time — that's exactly what this is for.

What's covered
  • Replacements for any reason — no restrictions on condition

Manufacturer's Warranty

All rings in titanium, silver, gold, or platinum are covered by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase, protecting against defects in materials and workmanship.

What's covered
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
What's not covered
  • Normal wear and tear, including everyday scratches
  • Loss or theft
  • Resizing (available separately at cost)
  • White gold re-plating (available separately at cost)
  • Damage from abrasive cleaners, improper use, or third-party alterations
How to claim

Email with your invoice number and a description of the issue. We will arrange insured collection from your UK address.

Timescales

We offer two distinct warranties:
  • Black Tungsten Lifetime Warranty — covers all black tungsten rings for life, with up to two free replacements for any reason, no questions asked.
  • 12-Month Manufacturer's Warranty — covers rings in titanium, silver, gold, or platinum against manufacturing defects for 12 months from purchase.
No — replacements are completely free. There are no restrictions on the reason, and no restrictions on the condition of your current ring. You can claim up to two replacement rings across the lifetime of your purchase.
There are two key reasons. First, the PVD coating that gives black tungsten its colour may show wear over time — and unlike gold, it cannot simply be polished away. Second, tungsten rings cannot be re-sized. The lifetime warranty ensures that if your finger size changes, or your ring no longer looks its best, you can always get a replacement at no cost.
No — there is no requirement to return your original ring. Just email us with your invoice number and your preference for model and size.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that appear within 12 months of your purchase date. It does not cover normal wear and tear, loss, theft, resizing, re-plating, or damage from misuse.

Resizing and re-plating are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty, but we can arrange both services at additional cost. Please contact us for a quote.

  • Titanium, Silver, Gold or Platinum: Email sales@castle-jewellery.com with your invoice number and a description of the issue. We'll arrange insured collection from your UK address.
Absolutely not. Our warranties are offered in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which remain fully unaffected. You always retain rights regarding quality, fitness for purpose, and accurate description of goods.
